Job description
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) administers and provides anesthesia related care to patients before, during, and after surgery. The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist works with various medical practitioners such as surgeons, anesthesiologists, doctors, dentists, and podiatrists, and act as a liaison between patients of all ages and their leading care provider.
nMinimum Requirements:
nnnGraduation from a professional nursing program and from a school of nurse anesthesia approved by the State Accrediting Agency and the Council on Accreditation of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) preferred and/or per state requirements

nnActive State Licensure
n
nnAt least 2 years of experience as a CRNA preferred
n
nnCurrent CPR/ACLS/PALS if applicable
n
nnTB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
n
nnCurrent Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
n
nnMust meet all federal, state and local requirements
n
nnMust be a least 18 year of age
