This community hospital serves the Northern California region and provides a range of inpatient services with a supportive clinical environment. The facility maintains strong credentialing standards and offers locum providers a well-organized onboarding process with an estimated credentialing timeframe of 15-30 days.
Opportunity:
Board Certified - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
Provide inpatient anesthesia services with 7-10 patient encounters per shift
Clean file required - providers with settlements, DUIs/drug issues, restrictions, terminations, or Medical Board actions are not eligible
Active California license required - must be licensed in CA only to bid
DEA required
Board certified or truly board eligible required
BLS certification required
Schedule includes day shifts (7a - 3p) and 24-hour weekend call shifts (beeper call)
Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime applying after 8 hours worked
Administer general anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients
Perform spinal anesthesia
Perform regional anesthesia surgery
Complete orthopedic surgical cases
Pediatric surgical cases
Regional surgical cases
Thoracic surgical cases
Central line placement required
Arterial line placement required
RFA, CV, and 24 months of relevant activity required for credentialing
Completed application and references on standby required
Travel reimbursement provided for airport parking and ground transportation at the destination
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
