Job description
Position Overview A community hospital in South-Central Pennsylvania is seeking a Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to support a busy surgical program in a medically directed anesthesia model.
Facility Overview 150-bed acute care hospital
Level III Trauma Center
EMR: Epic
Daily Staffing: 1 MD + 4 CRNAs
Case Mix 4,300 annual cases
Orthopedics
Endoscopy
Regional blocks
TEE
No OB
Schedule Monday Friday
7:00 AM 3:00 PM
Call Structure Beeper call required
1 2 weekdays per week
1 2 weekends per month
Required Qualifications Active Pennsylvania CRNA license
Active DEA registration
ACLS and BLS certification
Minimum 1 2 years clinical anesthesia experience
Ability to participate in call coverage
Preferred Qualifications Experience using Epic EMR
Experience with regional anesthesia and nerve blocks
Prior community hospital anesthesia experience
Key Skills & Competencies Safe administration of anesthesia
Regional anesthesia and nerve block techniques
Patient monitoring and perioperative care
Airway management
Collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
Effective communication in high-acuity surgical environments
Compensation & Benefits $190 $220 per hour
