A rewarding opportunity awaits at a medical facility in Olean, NY, as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in anesthesiology. This locum tenens position offers a diverse range of cases, including general, orthopedic, and obstetric, with a flexible day shift schedule. Candidates will be part of a dynamic team with MD oversight, providing comprehensive anesthesia care and engaging in pre-anesthesia assessments, patient monitoring, and clinical interventions.

Job Responsibilities Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain/verifies patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
Carry out induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitor the patient's physiological condition
Perform clinical interventions as needed
Qualifications Current license as a registered professional nurse
Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Working Hours Day shift, Monday-Friday
Optional overtime and on-call pager duties during weeknights and weekends
Skills Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly Epic
Strong communication and patient interaction skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
