CRNA Locum Opportunity in Roanoke, VA Level 1 Trauma Center!

Carilion is seeking full-time CRNAs for a 6-month locum assignment (with the option to extend) at its Level 1 trauma center in Roanoke, Virginia. Here, locum CRNAs are treated just like permanent providers with the same permissions in a culture-first environment where some locums have been onsite for up to five years.
The Role
Care for highly complex patients at a Level 1 trauma center
Case mix: neuro, ortho, trauma, general surgery, GYN, endoscopy, and peds (no cardiac, no OB)
Loose medical direction model
Epic EMR
Be part of an exciting growth phase a brand-new wing will need locum staffing
Schedule
Start date: January (credentialing takes about 100 days, or as little as 75 days if you stay on top of your paperwork)
6-month contract with the option to extend; providers interested in longer-term assignments (6 12 months or more) are especially welcome
40 hours per week guaranteed 8- and 10-hour shifts (5x8s or 5x10s)
Overtime paid after your scheduled shift
Must be available full time on a continuous basis (a 2-weeks-on/2-weeks-off schedule cannot be accommodated)
Flexible with requested time off
Requirements
Board-certified CRNA
Active Virginia license (licensing candidates will be considered)
Level 1 trauma experience is required
Carilion-specific skills checklist must be submitted with your application
Travel & Logistics
Travel fully covered, including airfare, lodging, and car rental or a monthly/weekly travel stipend of up to $3,500 per month
