Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $7,340 - $7,740 Location: Springfield, IL 62769 (Central Illinois healthcare / Illinois nursing jobs) Assignment Duration: 12 weeks Start Date: April 6, 2026 End Date: December 31, 2026 Shift Duration: 8-hour or 10-hour shifts Shifts Per Week: 5 Hours Per Week: 36 Case Types: General surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics (perioperative anesthesia) Charting System: iPro electronic health record (EHR) Anesthesia Rooms: 15 CRNA to MD Ratio: 3:1 Opportunity Type: Locum Tenens; CRNA job / locum tenens anesthesia opening CRNA Job Requirements Current license as a registered professional nurse in Illinois (RN) Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program Current certification from the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA certification) Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as a CRNA Full-time availability for 8- or 10-hour shifts Experience with perioperative anesthesia care and OR workflows preferred Responsibilities Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain/verify informed consent Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and perioperative plans with patients and families Provide induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia for general, orthopedic, and OB cases Continuously monitor patients' physiological status and manage intraoperative changes Perform clinical interventions as needed in the operating room (OR) Document anesthesia care accurately in iPro EHR and communicate effectively with surgical, nursing, and perioperative teams Locum Tenens Perks Competitive weekly pay for locum tenens CRNA jobs Opportunity to work a varied case mix and expand clinical skills Collaborative anesthesia team environment Flexible scheduling with 8- or 10-hour shift options Why Springfield?
