Job description
Locums - Syracuse, New York, CRNA Opening
Clinical Role
Start December 2026 with ongoing coverage through June 2027 2-3 full-time CRNAs needed Locums, locum-to-permanent, and permanent candidates may be considered Supervised practice model with CRNAs expected to function independently within their scope Adult and geriatric patients, including ages 16+
Schedule & Coverage
10-hour shifts, 7:00 am-5:30 pm No call required Dedicated CRNA coverage is provided for evenings, nights, and weekends
Practice Setting & Case Mix
Hospital operating rooms Endoscopy unit Cardiac lab Ambulatory surgery center 15 main ORs and 4 ambulatory surgery center ORs Level II Trauma Center Regional blocks are not required
Practice Model & Support
Anesthesiologist supervision General supervision ratio of 1:4 Cardiac supervision ratio of 1:2 CRNAs should be comfortable functioning without the supervising Anesthesiologist continuously in the room Scrub technicians, RN circulators, and Anesthesia technicians available Epic EMR
Requirements & Credentialing
NBCRNA certification required Active New York license required
