Opportunity:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia
Job Details:
Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients
Case types include General, Ortho, Neuro, Plastics, Peds, OB, Vascular, Thoracic, Hands, Podiatry, Urology, Endo, IR, Cath/EP/TEE, and MRI
Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia records
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedural protocols, and safety standards
36-40 hours per week with shift options of 8s, 10s, or 12s, Monday through Friday
On-call available but not required
Hospital-based setting designated as a Level III Trauma Center
Patient population consists of 10% pediatric and 90% adult/geriatric patients
80% outpatient and 20% inpatient case mix
Average of 35 OR cases plus 20 offsite cases per day
Required skills include a variety of cases, A-lines; no open hearts or blocks/regional
Collaborative team approach work environment
Minimum of 2 years CRNA experience required
Active Michigan license required
NBCRNA, ACLS/BLS (AHA), and PALS certifications required
