Job description

Step into a high-impact, high-reward career as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at a leading community-based healthcare organization in northwestern Colorado, where advanced surgical innovation meets mountain-town lifestyle and a CRNA is empowered to practice at the top of licensure.

This Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist opportunity offers the chance to join a mission-driven, patient-first healthcare organization known for measurable quality outcomes, exceptional patient satisfaction, and a culture of clinical excellence and safety. A CRNA here benefits from strong physician and advanced practice provider collaboration, streamlined workflows, optimized anesthesia protocols, and leadership that values frontline feedback. The organization demonstrates ongoing investment in clinician wellbeing, professional development, and continuing education support, creating an environment where a Certified Nurse Anesthetist can expand skills in a high-acuity yet supportive setting. With modernized facilities, robust interdisciplinary teamwork, and a respected regional reputation for compassionate care, this Registered Nurse Anesthesiology role provides both professional pride and meaningful community impact.

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will join a dynamic team within the Anesthesiology department, also known as Perioperative Services, at a premier, community-based healthcare facility renowned for delivering nationally recognized orthopedic surgery, world-class patient experiences, and comprehensive rural healthcare along the Western Slope. This organization has earned the prestigious Healthgrades America's 100 Best Joint Replacement Hospitals and Joint Replacement Excellence Award and operates three advanced surgical theaters equipped with the high-tech Mako SmartRobotics system for ultra-precise joint replacements. Recognized as one of the top hospitals for patient experience in the Western U.S. by Becker's Hospital Review, and one of only six facilities in Colorado-and the only Critical Access Hospital in the entire state-to make Becker's elite list, the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will practice in a setting that blends advanced technology with personalized surgical care.

Reporting to the Director of Anesthesia and collaborating closely with board-certified anesthesiologists and experienced perioperative nursing leadership, the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical specialties, with a strong emphasis on orthopedic procedures. The CRNA will perform pre-anesthetic assessments, develop and implement anesthesia care plans, monitor patients intraoperatively, and ensure safe recovery in partnership with PACU nurses and surgical technologists. Friendly, highly skilled nurses and a diverse healthcare professional team foster a collegial environment built on mutual respect, shared governance, and dedication to patient safety, allowing each Certified Nurse Anesthetist to thrive clinically and professionally.

Located in beautiful northwestern Colorado, this Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist position offers an unmatched lifestyle surrounded by stunning mountain vistas, four-season recreation, and welcoming community charm. A CRNA can enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, rafting, and fishing just minutes from home, along with vibrant local festivals, farmers markets, live music, and a growing culinary scene. The region features excellent schools, safe neighborhoods, accessible healthcare services, and a reasonable commute free from urban congestion. With clean air, open spaces, strong community pride, and convenient regional airport access, northwestern Colorado provides a balanced lifestyle ideal for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist seeking both adventure and tranquility.

This Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist role offers competitive compensation, generous shift differentials, certification pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans with employer contribution, paid time off, and continuing education support. A CRNA ready to elevate a career in a nationally recognized surgical environment is encouraged to connect with a Clinical Management Consultants recruiter today to explore this exceptional Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist opportunity and take the next bold step forward.
