Certified Speech Language Pathologist / SLP

Transform Lives Through the Power of Communication – Become a Speech Language Pathologist in Scenic Wisconsin

Imagine a career where your next step not only advances your professional journey but also gives voice to countless individuals experiencing communication challenges. As a Speech Language Pathologist in one of the Midwest's charming cities, you will be pivotal in more than just treating disorders; you'll empower people to find their voice, regain their confidence, and cultivate connections that matter!

This exciting opportunity allows you to work with diverse age groups, from curious toddlers uttering their very first words to resilient seniors on their path to independence. Set in a supportive environment that harmonizes outpatient therapy with occasional inpatient care, your expertise will serve those with pediatric language development needs, adult neurogenic challenges, and geriatric rehabilitation.

Conduct assessments and evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, utilizing both standardized tools and observational methods.

Craft tailored treatment strategies that address immediate concerns while considering long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing goals.

Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions that prioritize communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.

Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and family members to foster unified care plans.

Provide education to patients and their families to aid in progress outside the clinical environment.

Participate in providing inpatient speech therapy evaluations and therapies, ensuring a seamless transition throughout the treatment journey.

Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations and organizational protocols.

Enhance your professional development by engaging in ongoing education and collaborating with peers.

A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Valid state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.

Expertise in evidence-based practices for addressing speech, language, and swallowing disorders across all age groups.

Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Flexibility to modify therapeutic techniques for patients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation practices.

Competitive salary reflective of experience.

Flexible work hours that promote a healthy work-life balance.

Specialization opportunities available in pediatrics, adult neurology, or geriatric care.

Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday compensation.

Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options.

Support for continuing education and opportunities for professional growth.

A collaborative environment centered on quality care and continuous improvement.

As a Speech Language Pathologist here, your mission transcends standard therapy; you will be a vital part of a compassionate community that fosters understanding, connection, and resilience. Your role is instrumental in not just enhancing communication, but also sharing in the joy and triumphs of your patients' achievements.

In a supportive team where relationships matter, you will find not only colleagues but a family of professionals who cheer each other's successes. Every individual you work with presents a narrative, and we trust you to help shape its telling in a profound and meaningful way.

Life in Wisconsin exudes a charm that seamlessly combines midwestern warmth with a vibrant cultural scene. Surrounded by picturesque lakes and lush landscapes, it's an ideal escape for those who appreciate nature and a slower pace of life. Enjoy lakeside picnics, strolls through farmers markets, or leisurely bike rides along scenic trails.

From quaint cafes to renowned dining establishments, this community invites food lovers to savor every bite, while art enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the local galleries that celebrate creativity and expression. The lively atmosphere resonates in the local music and art festivals, where friendships blossom and stories intertwine.

Beyond lifestyle perks, professionals will benefit from a favorable cost of living and a flourishing healthcare network that propels careers forward. Here, you'll discover space for both personal growth and professional development.

We seek a Speech Language Pathologist who is not merely results-oriented but profoundly empathetic. Someone who envisions the potential of patients and listens with empathy to their challenges—transforming silence into dialogue and despair into hope.

You may be an expert in working with children, intrigued by expanding your reach into adult and geriatric services— or perhaps you're an advocate for neuro rehabilitation with an eagerness to embrace early intervention techniques.

Whichever path led you here, if you're passionate about making a difference with both proficiency and compassion, we would love to have you.

If you understand that speech is rich with meaning beyond mere sounds, and that therapy extends beyond structured tasks — if you appreciate the significance of trust alongside the pursuit of goals, this opportunity may just be your next career adventure.

Join us to be a part of a community that values connection, communication, and the courage to embrace growth. Apply today to be a guiding force in helping others rediscover their voice, and let us journey toward clarity together.
