Job description
Surgical Services – Sterile Processing TechSchedule: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with scheduled rotating weekends and occasional scheduled holidays.Assignment Details: Contract length and guaranteed hours will be discussed during the hiring process.Requirements:Experience with decontamination of all items, including drills, scopes, and other instruments.Assembly of instruments across all service lines, including trauma and loaners.Knowledge of sterilization processes, including Sterrad and steam.Experience with high-level disinfection (HLD) and scope processing.Familiarity with sterile storage protocols.OR liaison experience preferred.Experience with Censitrac tracking system.Medivator experience required.Certification from either CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA, formerly IAHCSMM).Responsibilities:Conduct thorough decontamination of surgical instruments and equipment.Assemble and package surgical instruments using appropriate methods.Assist in the sterilization of instruments using designated processes.Maintain compliance with infection control policies and procedures.Provide support and communication with OR personnel as needed.Coordinate inventory and storage of sterile supplies and instruments.Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance After 90 DaysAccrued PTOContinuing Education through TLC Academy & Relias TrainingReferral Bonus up to $1, (k) with MatchAccess to Purchase AflacEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Discounts on Travel and Retail through Employee Discount NetworkLife InsuranceTLC ShiftShield income protection for eligible travelers between assignmentsClient Details: State OHJob Board Disclaimer: TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer and fully complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
