Certified WelderTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Certified Welders for projects located in or around Hampton, VA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Prepare metals for welding by cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting stainless steel, copper, and aluminum componentsSet up and operate TIG welding equipmentControl gas flow rates and adjust welding parameters as neededWeld heavy-duty refrigerant lines, steam piping, chillers, and ventilation systemsProduce clean, precise, and leak-free weldsRepair faulty or damaged weldsCut out and replace cracked welds and leaking pressurized pipingAssist with retrofitting commercial and hospital HVAC systemsFollow all jobsite safety requirements and quality standardsRequirements:Current 6G Welding Certification requiredTIG welding experienceExperience welding stainless steel, copper, and aluminumCommercial mechanical or rooftop HVAC experience preferredHospital retrofit experience preferredRigging experience is a plusMust have tools of the tradeMust be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a teamBe Safe from fraud!
