We are seeking skilled, certified welders to join our team and help manufacture and assemble mining vehicles from the ground up. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in quality craftsmanship and want to be part of building equipment that powers the mining industry.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Certified Welder Details:Temp-to-Hire position$18.00 to $22.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Fabricate and weld structural components used in the assembly of mining vehicles and equipment.Perform welding using processes such as MIG, Stick (SMAW), Flux Core (FCAW), and/or TIG as required.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.Fit, align, and assemble metal components prior to welding.Inspect welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.Certified Welder Qualifications:Current welding certification required.Minimum 2 years of welding experience preferred.Strong knowledge of welding techniques, procedures, and equipment.Experience working with structural steel, plate steel, or industrial fabrication preferred.Reliable attendance and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Applicant may be subject to a background checkApplicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle ReportPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
