Job Description Job Description Most welding jobs put you in a shop running the same bead on the same part all day. This one puts you in and under residential homes, fabricating and installing the structural steel that makes a basement conversion possible. You will know exactly what you built and exactly what it is holding up. That is not something you get from a production floor.

What you will do
Fabricate and install structural steel on residential job sites throughout Greater Atlanta
Read and work from structural plans and specifications
Weld to code on load-bearing applications where precision is non-negotiable
Work alongside excavation crew members on active basement conversion projects
Maintain a clean, safe job site and flag anything that does not look right

Bonus if you have
Experience in residential or structural applications
Ability to read structural drawings
Spanish or English bilingual skills
Experience working in confined or below-grade spaces
What you will earn
$18 to $24 per hour
Where you land in that range depends on your certification, experience, and what you bring on day one. There is room to grow as you grow with the team.
