Job description

Part-Time Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)Atlas is seeking a Part-Time Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to support construction projects throughout South Florida, with a primary focus on the inspection of structural steel welds and welded connections. This role plays a critical part in helping ensure that infrastructure projects are completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with applicable quality standards. The Certified Welding Inspector will perform visual inspections, review drawings and specifications, document findings, and verify conformance with project requirements, codes, and industry standards. Responsibilities may also include the inspection of high-strength bolted connections and the identification of nonconforming work. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality in a field environment.
