Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Chief Financial Officer to provide hands-on financial leadership during a transitional period. This individual will oversee the organization's accounting and finance functions, improve financial reporting processes, ensure compliance, and partner with executive leadership to support strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
Lead all day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
Review and improve financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Oversee payroll approval and accounting operations.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team.
Partner with executive leadership to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Support ongoing system optimization and financial reporting enhancements.
Assist with audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
Perform additional financial leadership responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
Previous experience as a CFO, Controller, or senior finance executive.
Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and internal controls.
Experience leading accounting teams through organizational change or transition.
ERP implementation or optimization experience is a plus.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skill
