Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Government/Fund Accounting

Key Responsibilities
Lead financial oversight, including month-end close, year-end reporting, and government compliance
Provide leadership for a small but critical accounting team (AR/AP & Financial Analyst)
Manage banking, fund allocation, and reconciliations to ensure financial stability
Deliver high-level financial insights and reports to the board and executive leadership
Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, payroll reviews, and AP accuracy
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred but not required)
Government/Fund Accounting – Affordable Housing Experience
Detail-Oriented & Hands-On – This role requires deep financial acumen and a willingness to dive into the numbers
Collaborative Leadership – Patient, solutions-driven, and able to work across departments
