Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Tax Manager to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $70.00 to $75.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead quarterly and annual tax provision activities by preparing reviewing and documenting current and deferred tax calculations.
Analyze effective tax rates valuation considerations and uncertain positions while ensuring alignment with accounting standards.
Support preparation and review of income tax disclosures and ensure reporting meets regulatory and audit expectations.
Collaborate with finance accounting and external advisors to deliver accurate tax reporting and support special projects.
Review fixed asset tax depreciation differences reconcile book and tax schedules and identify workflow improvements.
Requirements:
A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field with a CPA or advanced tax degree preferred.
7+ years of corporate tax experience with significant exposure to tax accounting.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of United States accounting standards corporation taxation and internal controls.
Use Excel at an advanced level to perform complex calculations modeling and analysis.
Manage competing priorities effectively while communicating clearly with stakeholders across teams.
Qualifications:
Support global consolidation of tax provision data by partnering with international finance teams.
Prepare technical documentation and memos and provide audit support with organized materials.
Assist with planning restructuring and transaction analysis as business needs arise.
Improve tax processes through technology initiatives data transformation and standardization efforts.
Bring experience from large organizations or public accounting environments with strong analytical and organizational skills.
