Job description
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $60.00 to $70.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform internal audits to assess compliance with policies procedures and regulatory expectations across operations and information systems.
Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls that address financial operational and compliance risks.
Execute audit testing ensure objectives are met and document observations and recommendations clearly.
Prepare concise audit documentation and draft reports that communicate risks findings and improvement opportunities.
Support management by assessing risk impacts and providing practical recommendations to strengthen controls.
Requirements: A Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field of study.
5+ years of progressive internal audit experience with exposure to public accounting environments.
Demonstrate hands on experience with internal control compliance and audit standards.
Use advanced Excel skills to analyze data support testing and prepare audit workpapers.
Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with stakeholders at multiple levels.
Qualifications: Apply strong knowledge of audit standards and methodologies to ensure reliable and defensible audit results.
Maintain thorough clear documentation to support audit conclusions and external reliance.
Assess enterprise risks thoughtfully and prioritize audit focus areas aligned with business objectives.
Demonstrate attention to detail sound judgment and professional skepticism throughout audit activities.
Bring experience from large public accounting firms or regulated environments considered beneficial.
