The position's tasks and responsibilities include:Serving as a companion to clientsTransporting clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.Managing medicationPreparing mealsInterpersonal skills, including exceptional patience and listening skillsPerforming light housekeeping duties (e.g., keeping room clean, laundry)Providing bathing and dressing assistanceKeeping proper care records and reporting changes to nursing teamEncouraging socialization and participation in community activitiesFollowing patient care planCommunicating with families, co-workers and supervisors regarding careAssisting with transfer and mobilityShopping and running errandsMaintaining a safe and comfortable home environmentBenefitsWeekly payMedical, Dental, Vision InsuranceReferral bonusCompetitive PayHoliday PayQualificationsMinimum 6 months of documented health care experience is requiredEmpathy for the needs of the clientsTreats clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive public image.Ensures confidentiality and security of the client's medical information.
