Job DescriptionFind your calling at Mercy! \ N The Charge Registered Nurseutilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice.\ N Position Details: \ N

Education:

Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

\ NLicensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

\ NExperience:

\ NCertifications:

\ N- Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

\ N One or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe:

\ N- ACLS/ALS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

\ N- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

\ N- ENPC (Emergency NursingPediatric Course)

\ N- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

\ N- CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurses)

\ N- OCN (Oncology CertifiedNurse)

\ N- BLS (Basic Life Support)

\ N- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

\ N- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)

\ N- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules

\ N- C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)

\ N- Other unit-specific certifications as required.

Physical Requirements:

\ N - Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

\ N - Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.

\ N - Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
