Role
Emergency Department Charge Nurse (RN) responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring quality patient care, and supporting staff in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Responsibilities
Oversee departmental activities, assist with recruiting and training, prepare reports, and provide leadership in the absence of the Nurse Manager. Assess staff competencies, assign patient care duties, communicate with management, and maintain efficient unit operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate of an accredited nursing school with at least one year of RN experience. Current RN licensure, BLS certification required; ACLS, CPI, PALS, and NRP certifications within specified periods. Ability to coordinate patient care and lead staff effectively.
Preferences
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
