Chemical Batch MakerSURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a Chemical Batch Maker for our client’s manufacturing plant in Woodridge, IL. The Chemical Batch Maker is responsible for production of all batched items for use in filling operations Picking, adding and blending raw materials, verifying quality and tracking inventory.SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($20-$23/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include 3rd shift. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.Responsibilities of the Chemical Batch Maker:Obtaining a batch sheet from laboratory supervisorWeighing itemsBringing sample of completed batch to laboratory for testing and approvalAdjusting batch as dictated by laboratoryObtaining and applying tank ticket after laboratory approvalLabeling and filling of tote/drum/pail quantity productsChanging line and raw material filtersOperating and maintaining sodium hypochlorite reclaim systemImmediately reporting any safety/maintenance/equipment issues to the quality managerPreferred Qualifications of the Chemical Batch Maker:Previous experience in a production environment.Basic mathematical skills, experience with the metrics system.Strong attention to detailAbility to stand for a minimum of 8 hours a dayConsistently lift up to 50lbs throughout the shiftAbout SurestaffAt Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
