Position: Chemical Defense Researcher
Type:Contract
Compensation:$65–$75/hour
Location:Remote
Role Responsibilities
Write challenging single-turn prompts in chemistry and chemical safety, labeled as benign, dual-use, and adversarial.
Evaluate AI model responses against defined policy standards to ensure correct handling.
Write reference answers with technical reasoning for correct responses.
Collaborate with AI research teams to draw reliable lines between routine and dangerous queries.
Work independently and asynchronously to improve AI model performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Experience in chemical defense research at institutions like USAMRICD, DoD, or CDC.
Background in toxicology of chemical warfare agents and medical countermeasure development.
Expertise in decontamination, protection, and detection research for chemical threats.
Experience with CWC-related work such as verification and destruction.
Strong technical writing skills with prior experience or published research.
