nRole Summary
nOurisman Automotive Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Service Technician to join our team. The Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring that our customers receive safe and reliable service.
nMore about the role
nnPerform accurate diagnostics on vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues and carry out necessary repairs.
nConduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
nTest drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic tools to ensure repairs are completed successfully and to manufacturer standards.
nMaintain detailed records of all work performed, parts used, and services recommended.
nWork closely with Service Advisors and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
nOccasionally communicate with customers to explain repairs and maintenance needs.
n nWhat we look for
nnPrevious experience as an automotive technician or mechanic is preferred.
nApplicable certifications and technical trainings.
nProficiency with diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and technical manuals.
nStrong analytical skills to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues.
nAbility to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy parts and standing for extended periods.
nExcellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
