Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)Maya Homecare is currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide care for a 94-year-old woman with dementia in Ringoes, NJ. This position offers 16 hours per week, with shifts from 9 AM to 1 PM on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.Key Responsibilities:Assist with bathing and personal hygieneProvide medication reminders (she frequently asks if she's taken her medication)Prepare and assist with lunchOffer general companionship and supportEnsure safety and provide mobility assistance as needed (she uses a cane)Requirements:Valid CHHA certification in the state of New JerseyMust be a femaleExperience working with elderly patients, particularly those with dementiaCompassionate, reliable, and attentive to detailAbility to work independently and follow instructionsMust be able to provide medication reminders and assist with daily living activitiesAbout the Family: The client lives with her son and other family members. While the family is present, the client requires assistance with daily tasks.
