Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)Desire Home Care, Inc. is seeking a certified and compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our team. The individual in this position will provide quality in-home care to our clients in Riverside. As a CHHA at Desire Home Care, Inc., you will be responsible for providing personal care, assistance with daily activities, and emotional support to our clients. You will play a crucial role in helping our clients maintain their independence and improve their overall quality of life.Compensation: $25-$30 per hourBenefits:Daily pay: Access your earned wages the same day you work!Medical, dental, vision401K with 4% matchPaid time offPaid sick timeReferral payPaid trainingsFirst time home buyer program assistanceSign on bonus: Complete 100 visits within 90 days & receive a $500 bonusResponsibilities:Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressingHelp with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeepingProvide emotional support and companionship to clientsReport any changes in clients' health or behavior to the supervisorFollow the care plan outlined by the client's healthcare teamMaintain accurate and detailed documentation of services providedCommunicate effectively with clients, their families, and the healthcare teamAdhere to all safety and infection control protocolsAttend training and education programs to maintain and enhance CHHA certificationRequirements:Must be a certified CHHA in the state of CaliforniaPrior experience in home health care or a similar setting preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow instructions and work with minimal supervisionCompassionate, patient, and understanding natureAbility to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environmentMust have a valid driver's license and reliable transportationMust have current BLS certificatePhysical and TB clearance valid within the yearAbility to complete documentation via agency EMR systemSHIFTS: No more than 8 hours, no holiday shiftsMorning, Afternoon, and EveningEEOC Statement: Desire Home Care, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
