Job description
The Wall Street Journal seeks an ambitious Deputy Bureau Chief based in Chicago to help run our Midwest bureau. You will manage a talented team of reporters covering business, finance, and corporate beats, guiding fast-breaking coverage and enterprise reporting.
This full-time role reports to the Chicago Bureau Chief and involves coordinating with visuals, data, and platform teams to maximize reach. The base pay range is $150,000–$170,000, with a comprehensive benefits package.
