Job description
The City of Birmingham is seeking an experienced Chief Architect to lead the Architecture Division within the Planning, Engineering and Permitting Department. This role directs planning, design, construction, and renovation of City-owned buildings and guides complex architectural decisions.
The Chief Architect oversees staff such as Architects and Plans Examiners, ensuring plans, permits, and related activities meet high professional standards and city requirements.
