Job description
The City of Birmingham is seeking an experienced Chief Architect to oversee the Architecture Division within the Planning, Engineering and Permitting Department. You will supervise Architects, Senior Plans Examiners, Plans Examiners, and staff, directing design, construction, and remodeling of municipal buildings and contracts with consulting architects.
The role requires Alabama licensure or NCARB eligibility, strong portfolio management, and expertise in contract administration and regulatory
