Job description
Athens-Clarke County seeks an executive-level County Engineer to lead the Unified Government’s development review, infrastructure and public works portfolio. You will supervise department directors, shape the CIP, and serve as the primary technical authority for engineering decisions.
The role requires a PE license (GA or reciprocity), seven years of progressive engineering experience, and five years of supervisory work. Strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration are essential.
