Chief Engineer — Holiday Inn Downtown Omaha Waterpark
Holiday Inn Downtown Omaha Waterpark is hiring a Chief Engineer to lead our maintenance team and keep the hotel, guest rooms, and waterpark in excellent working condition.
Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and schedule the maintenance team.
Perform and oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and work orders.
Troubleshoot and repair drywall, plumbing, and electrical issues.
Maintain the waterpark and pool systems in accordance with applicable requirements.
Respond promptly to maintenance issues affecting guests, staff, or hotel operations.
Coordinate with vendors and monitor the quality of completed work.
Qualifications
Current Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required.
Hotel maintenance experience required.
Working knowledge of drywall, plumbing, and electrical repairs required.
Experience supervising a maintenance team required.
Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Availability to respond to urgent maintenance needs, including weekends when necessary.
