Job description
Chief Engineer – Providence Milwaukie Hospital
Full‑time day schedule. The Chief Engineer is responsible for overseeing the safe operation and maintenance of the facility’s utility systems and equipment, ensuring a safe environment for patients and employees.
Key Responsibilities
The Chief Engineer supports the delivery of health care services by supervising central plant operations and maintaining all assigned equipment.
Required Qualifications
Driving may be necessary; must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
Experience using a personal computer in a Windows environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Coursework or training and completion of an approved apprenticeship program or equivalent education/experience.
Five (5) years of experience in central plant operations and maintenance.
Five (5) years of supervisory experience.
