Field-Based Service Business | Fort Myers, FL
Overview
This is a great opportunity to come into a blue-collar services business that is on an upward trajectory. The company has a strong reputation in the Fort Myers market, and the current CEO is ready to step into the Chairman seat and hand the reins to someone who can take it to the next level. What You'll Be Doing
Driving Growth
Build and execute the growth strategy to expand market share with existing customers and channels
Identify and win new customers across existing and new markets throughout Florida
Set revenue and profit goals by division and product line, then go hit them
Running the Business
Own the P&L and provide strategic financial leadership on major decisions
Lead, motivate, and hold accountable a team of functional leaders
Use financial data and performance metrics to track progress and adjust course as conditions change
Find operational gaps and fix them — professionalizing the business as it scales
Leading at the Top
Report to and present quarterly updates to the Board
Act as the face of the company's next phase of growth
What You Bring to the Table
Experience
15+ years of progressively responsible experience, including 5+ years in executive leadership
A track record running a $50M–$150M blue-collar field services business (think lawn care, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or similar) selling both B2C and B2B
Proven ability to grow revenue and profitability while improving operations along the wayPrior experience with a PE-backed business is highly desired
Strong P&L management and business acumen
