Position Overview
California Correctional Health Care Services – Internship at San Joaquin County.
Limited‑Term for 24 months with possibility of becoming permanent after a one‑year probationary period.
Responsibilities
Under the administrative direction of the Regional Health Care Executive, manage the California Health Care Facility, including multiple intermediate and acute health care programs for adult inmates.
Coordinate with departmental headquarters, other CDCR institutions, and external relationships with governmental, legislative, community and business leaders at the state and local level.
Ensure the facility’s effectiveness and maintain cooperative working relationships within the department and with health care partners.
Oversee operations in conjunction with custody, medical, dental, and mental health professionals.
Qualifications
