Job description
Fractional CFO (Part-Time | ~20 hrs/week | $60–$70/hr)
We are seeking a results‑driven Fractional CFO to provide strategic financial leadership for a growing ecommerce and consumer products business . This hands‑on role will strengthen financial reporting, improve cash flow visibility, build scalable systems, and support executive decision‑making to drive profitability and growth.
This position is part‑time (~20 hours per week) with scheduling flexibility and requires being in‑office at least once per week for collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic finance partner to the CEO/Leadership Team
Build and maintain budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial models
Create dashboards and KPI reporting (sales, margins, CAC, inventory turns, cash flow)
Analyze profitability by product, channel, and customer segment
Improve cash flow planning, working capital visibility, and inventory planning
Strengthen monthly close, financial controls, and settlement reconciliation (QuickBooks + ecommerce systems)
Identify margin opportunities across fees, ad spend, freight, returns, and operational costs
Coordinate with CPA, tax advisors, payroll providers, and external partners
Qualifications
Required
5+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including CFO‑level responsibility
Strong FP&A skills (forecasting, budgeting, modeling, dashboards)
Experience in ecommerce, consumer products, or high‑volume transactional businesses
Strong cash flow and working capital expertise
Comfortable operating strategically and hands‑on
Preferred
Amazon/multi‑channel marketplace experience and settlement reconciliation
Inventory‑heavy operations and COGS optimization experience
QuickBooks and ecommerce accounting integrations
Experience scaling a business ($10M → $20M+)
