Job Requirements
EDUCATION: M.D. or equivalent degree. Completion of an accredited residency required with sub-certifications/training highly preferred.
LICENSES: Must be Board certified or Board eligible by the ABA. Eligible for licensure in the State of Tennessee. Current unrestricted licensure as a physician in Tennessee. Current certification DEA number.
Duties include direct patient care, as well as teaching and supervising nurse anesthetists and residents. Opportunities for clinical and basic science research are available, and participation is encouraged.
Job Description
Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and UT Health Sciences are seeking a full-time Chief of Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia-Anesthesiology (Open Rank Professor). Individuals with fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia are strongly encouraged to apply. Qualified generalists would be considered.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range for Board-Eligible Pediatric Anesthesiologists: $580,000 - $800,000 annually
Salary range for Board-Certified Pediatric Anesthesiologists: $600,000 - $800,000 annually
$200,000 sign-on bonus with a 5-year commitment
18 obligatory shifts monthly
As much as 13 weeks off annually
Additional compensation is available for shifts worked in excess of 18 shifts per month.
