Radiation Oncologist | Full-Time or Part-Time
Excellent Income Potential Manageable Patient Volume Outstanding Quality of Life
Paramount Oncology Group is seeking a radiation oncologist for a full-time or part-time opportunity in a community practice (Freeport, IL) approximately 45 minutes from the Chicago suburbs and one hour from Madison, Wisconsin.
This position offers an appealing balance of meaningful clinical work, excellent compensation, and time to enjoy life outside of medicine.
Practice Highlights
Flexible commitment: Full-time and part-time candidates welcome.
Manageable volume: Approximately 15–20 patients on treatment.
General radiation oncology: Predominantly bread-and-butter cases across common disease sites.
No brachytherapy.
Technology: Current Elekta linear accelerator, with a new machine scheduled for installation in 2027.
Excellent compensation: Based on experience and schedule.
The Role
Provide comprehensive radiation oncology care, including consultations, treatment planning, on-treatment management, and follow-up. Collaborate with referring physicians and the clinical team to deliver thoughtful, personalized care in a community setting.
Qualifications
MD or DO with completion of an accredited radiation oncology residency.
Board-certified or board-eligible in radiation oncology.
Eligible for medical licensure in the state of practice.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Experienced physicians and graduating residents are encouraged to apply.
