Job description
Chief of Staff to Nihal Mehta
Timing: ASAP
As Chief of Staff to Founding General Partner Nihal Mehta, you will serve as a strategic right-hand, helping scale Nihal’s impact across venture investing, founder support, and thought leadership. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role where you’ll operate across all facets of the firm – from investment pipeline to platform strategy to LP communications – with a focus on driving leverage, clarity, and results. You’ll be instrumental in accelerating the journey of every founder we back and every relationship we cultivate.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partner to Nihal
Drive operational leverage for Nihal by triaging priorities, managing strategic initiatives, responding to and helping route significant email traffic, and ensuring follow-through across commitments to make sure no balls are dropped
Own internal comms, strategic prep (e.g., for key meetings, public speaking, media), and act as a gatekeeper and amplifier of his time
Investment Process & Founder Success
Play a central role in sourcing, evaluating, and tracking new investment opportunities
Support portfolio companies post-investment — particularly in navigating product-market fit, distribution, hiring, and fundraising
Platform & Network Activation
Build and execute initiatives that deliver value to our portfolio — including founder resources, playbooks, advisory connections, and community programming
Curate and grow the Eniac Network of operators, LPs, and co-investors — turning passive relationships into activated allies
Internal Ops & Strategic Initiatives
Project manage cross-functional efforts — from event planning to internal tooling to market mapping
Identify and act on opportunities to improve how we operate as a fund — from systems to reporting to culture
External Comms & Brand Building
Support and elevate Eniac’s presence across social media, events, and thought leadership
Help run and grow Nihal’s podcast and personal brand as a founder advocate and investor
LP & Stakeholder Relations
Be a key liaison between Eniac and our LP base
Contribute to fundraising strategy, comms, and storytelling
About You

Confident Communicator: Whether writing a founder intro, drafting a tweet, or prepping LP materials, your storytelling is sharp and on-brand
Extremely well organized — you are quick to follow up and are comfortable with juggling multiple high visibility projects.
Strong interest in learning more about the venture capital and the startup ecosystem.
Benefits
Salary Range: $110-140k per year (leveling based on experience)
