Job description
NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Chief Operating Officer – Non Profit to join our client’s team in Orlando, FL. This is an Onsite, Direct Hire position. SALARY: $175,000 – $225,000 (depending on experience). Unfortunately, at this time our client is unable to sponsor or transfer visas. Requirements
15+ years of progressive leadership in nonprofit, civic, cultural, philanthropic, education, public-sector, or mission-driven organizations
5+ years in senior executive or management roles leading multi-functional teams and complex operations
Proven experience translating strategy into operating plans, dashboards, KPIs, and measurable results
Demonstrated success building or enhancing HR, performance management, employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and culture systems
Strong financial acumen with experience partnering on budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation, without ownership of financial functions
Responsibilities
Translate organizational strategy into annual plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes
Establish and manage organization-wide operating cadences (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
Oversee HR operations including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, policies, and performance management
Lead enterprise-wide operational systems, workflows, and process improvements
Spearhead major projects such as office relocation and facilities management
Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools for leadership and Board
Partner with executive leadership to align departmental goals and cross-functional initiatives
Support organizational technology adoption, system integrations, and data governance
Collaborate with the CEO and senior team to improve internal execution capacity and organizational effectiveness
Manage vendor and contract administration outside of financial controls
Ensure compliance, risk management, and operational excellence across departments
