What You’ll Do

Provide local oversight and leadership for all North Slope turboprop flight operations; act as the single point of contact for slope aviation personnel and on‑slope operations teams.

Manage the aviation surveillance program for North Slope operations; generate, evaluate, and share weekly and monthly operational metrics.

Coordinate with airstrip operations support teams to resolve aviation‑related facility issues.

Plan, direct, and schedule pilot work assignments in compliance with CFRs, company policy, crew duty limits, and labor laws.

Develop and administer pilot training: indoctrination, initial/recurrent ground, consolidation, special qualifications, and ancillary programs.

Recruit, evaluate, select, and onboard pilots for North Slope vacancies.

Set expectations and SMART goals; manage performance and growth via mid‑year, annual, and Individual Development Plan processes.

Prepare and steward the North Slope pilot budget; contain and reduce costs while safeguarding mission readiness.

Ensure policy and procedure currency in organizational and department manuals; collaborate with maintenance to ensure airworthiness.
