Job Summary:
Mission Health is seeking an experienced Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Advanced Practice Provider to join our Behavioral Health team in Asheville, NC.
Qualified Candidates:
Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program
PMHNP or psychiatry CAQ Physician Assistant certification required
At least 1 year of experience as a practicing advanced practice provider in psychiatry / behavioral health
Candidates must be able to see pediatric patients
Confidence in conducting psychiatric evaluations and provides ongoing medication management services
Please note that this position does not offer visa support
Position Highlights: 100% inpatient setting at Sweeten Creek
24 bed Child & Adolescent Unit
7 on / 7 off schedule with 10-hour shifts
Supports Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists with therapeutic case management, ER case consults, and group therapy management

About Mission Health's Behavioral Health Services: 120-bed freestanding behavioral health hospital, Sweeten Creek, which opened in 2023
Two adult, one geriatric, one child, and one adolescent inpatient units
23-bed emergency department psychiatric evaluation area and 10-bed behavioral health pod in the new Mission Hospital emergency department
Consultation on the pediatrics service and in the emergency department
Active ECT program
