Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Psychiatry • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: San Jose, CA • Service Setting: Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: Nov 2, 2026 - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8a-5p - 12-16 hrs/week • Patient Demographics: Ages 5 and up (all ages) • Patient Volume: 6-10 • Support Staffs: Medical Director, Nurses, Case Managers • Case Mix: Anxiety Disorder, Intermittent Explosive Disorder, Depression, Disruptive Mood Disorder, OCD, Schizoaffective Disorder, and Bipolar Disorders • EMR: Avatar NX • Duties/Responsibilities: - Perform Psychiatric Assessments, Evaluations, And MSEs, Providing DSM-Based Diagnoses - Provide Ongoing Medication Management For Assigned Patients - Obtain And Review Diagnostic Data, Labs, And Consultations Relevant To Patient Treatment - Advise Families And Caregivers Regarding Diagnoses, Treatment, And Intersection With Developmental Disabilities
