Child Care Teacher
Pay: Starting at $18 per hour
Job type: Direct Hire, 3 month duration with the possibility to extend
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7.5 hour day shifts
Location: Richmond, VA
About the Job
We are hiring three Child Care Teachers for a child development center in Richmond, VA. You will teach and care for children from six weeks to six years old as part of a friendly teaching team.
What You Will Do
Plan and lead fun, age-appropriate lessons
Keep children safe and the classroom clean
Track each child's progress and share updates with parents
Guide teacher aides and volunteers in your classroom
Required 2 years of child care experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Early childhood education coursework or a related degree, or equal experience
Preferred - Not Required Infant and toddler experience
Reggio Emilia experience
CDA credential or a degree in Early Childhood Education
