nLooking for caring, fun loving, energetic and creative individual who enjoys working with children. The ideal candidate needs to be a good communicator, problem solver, and be able to engage with children. Serving kids from ages 6 weeks -13 years old. __
nThis is a year-round Part-Time position. Monday- Friday 8:00am- 12:00pm, as well as weekend shifts Saturdays 8:00am-1:00pm, Sundays 1:00pm-4:00pm . Must be flexible to work during school breaks.
nWe are offering $260 bonus for new staff!
nSkills / Requirements:
nnHigh school Diploma/GED preferred
nMust be able to pass reference checks, criminal history background check, Sex Offender Registry check, and pre-employment drug screen prior to hiring
nMust be able to be on your feet the entire length of your shift; lift up to 40lbs
nMust be able to handle a busy environment
nMust possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills
nMust be certified in CPR/First Aid & Safety within the first 30 days of employment
nBe at least 17 years of age
n12 months experience working with children (preferred)
nBe friendly, courteous, enthusiastic, possess a cooperative attitude, and be a team player
nBe willing and able to work a variety of shifts, on weekends, and evenings
nHave strong communication and organizational skills
nHave a neat appearance and be well-groomed
nBe CPR/AED and First Aid certified or willing to be certified within first 30 days of employment
nBe willing to uphold the YMCAs core values of caring, honesty, responsibility, respect, and faith
nMust be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal history, sex offender and reference checks
n nPay Rate: $13.00 to $15.00/hour
