Join the Team at Tom's MechanicalTom's Mechanical is seeking an experienced Chiller, Boiler, and Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for a highly skilled professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service while troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment.If you're a technician who enjoys solving complex mechanical problems and wants to work for a company that values its employees, provides quality support, and invests in your success, we'd like to hear from you.Minimum QualificationsMinimum 5 years of HVAC service experienceAt least 2 years of hands-on experience servicing commercial chillers and/or boilersStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsExperience servicing commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, air handlers, pumps, and associated controlsEPA Universal Certification (required)Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to lift 50+ pounds and work safely on ladders, rooftops, and in mechanical roomsPreferred QualificationsExperience servicing commercial chillers and boilersKnowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Building Automation Systems (BAS), and hydronic systemsTexas Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician Registration or CertificationResponsibilitiesDiagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment, chillers, and boilersPerform preventive maintenance on commercial mechanical systemsTroubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, hydronic, and control system issuesComplete detailed service reports using mobile field softwareCommunicate findings and repair recommendations with customersMaintain a clean, organized company vehicle and inventoryFollow all company safety policies and industry best practicesParticipate in the after-hours on-call rotation as scheduledWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly pay based on experienceOvertime opportunitiesCompany-provided service vehicleInitial company-paid uniformsCompany issued cell phone and tabletMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid vacation and holidaysOngoing technical trainingCareer advancement opportunitiesSupportive management team and excellent company cultureWhy Tom's Mechanical?For decades, Tom's Mechanical has built a reputation for honesty, quality workmanship, and outstanding customer service throughout the DFW area.
