Pharmacist (Part-Time) | Clinical Specialist – Ogdensburg Campus Impact patient care at a leading regional medical center.
nThe Opportunity We are seeking a Part-Time Pharmacist to join our clinical team at the Claxton Campus in Ogdensburg ( . This position is central to achieving superior patient outcomes through clinical assessment, specialized therapy management, and expert consultation. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will provide dedicated support to our inpatient and specialty services.

nSchedule & Setting
nnnHours: Day Shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM).
n
nnLocation: 100% On-Site at the Ogdensburg Campus (Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center ( ).
n
nnCall: Once-a-month weekend call.
n
n nCore Responsibilities
nnnClinical Assessment: Monitor prescribed drug therapies for safety and effectiveness across diverse patient populations within the facility.
n
nnConsultation: Partner with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize medication utilization and hospital resources.
n
nnPatient Education: Participate in direct patient teaching and discharge counseling.
n
nnCompliance: Maintain QA and regulatory standards to ensure the highest level of departmental pharmacy practice.
n
n nRequirements
nnnLicensure: Current NYS Pharmacy License (upcoming graduates welcome!)
n
nnCertification: Current BLS Certification.
n
nnExperience: Hospital experience is heavily preferred (Retail experience will be considered).
n
nnKnowledge: Proficiency in specialized hospital pharmacy functions and clinical information systems.

n nPay & Benefits
nnnGrade 8 Range: $64.07 – $84.89/hour

nnPay determined by experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
