nJob Description:
nLahey Hospital and Medical Center (LHMC), part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, has an immediate opening for a qualified Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join its highly regarded Anesthesia Chronic Pain Service in Burlington and Peabody, MA.
nThe LHMC Anesthesia team provides anesthesia for approximately 25,000 cases annually. The APP will provide direct patient care relative to physical diagnosis and therapeutic management in an ambulatory and/or inpatient setting to patients with complex medical conditions or surgical patients.
nThe APP will also:
nnnCoordinate the care of patients in order to provide safe, effective, efficient, and timely patient centered care.

nnAct as a liaison between visiting nurses, clinical staff, and consult services.
n
nnConsult with physicians or surgeons regarding the care of patients for more complex diagnosis.
n
nnProvide direct patient care and management for all opioid patients.
n
n nEducation:
nnnPhysician Assistant: Graduate of an accredited Physician Program. Documentation of registration for next NCCPA Board administration or successful completion of NCCPA Board and maintenance of appropriate CME.
n
nnPractitioner RN: Graduate of a Master's Program in Nursing. Maintain currency through Clinical Education Units.
n
n nLicensure, Certification, Registration:
nnnCertification and current license to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
n
nnDEA number and Mass Department of Public Health Division of Food and Drug Restricted Substances registration number as appropriate.
n
nnWritten prescription privilege protocols signed by all attending physicians with whom the individual will be working.
n
n nExperience:
nPrevious experience in the operating room is strongly preferred.

nPay Range:
n$133,120.00 USD - $215,000.00 USD
nThe pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
