Job Summary
Church‘s Texas Chicken is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of a single restaurant location in Rowlett, Texas. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest service, leading and developing team members, maintaining operational standards, controlling costs, and supporting sales growth.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can motivate a team, maintain high standards for food quality and cleanliness, and create a positive experience for both guests and employees.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Operations
Deliver a superior guest experience through friendly, fast, and accurate service.
Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and service standards are consistently maintained.
Resolve guest concerns and complaints professionally and promptly.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant environment.
Ensure all incoming calls and guest inquiries are handled professionally.
Team Leadership
Train, coach, and develop team members and shift leaders.
Provide regular feedback and performance coaching.
Create schedules that support operational needs and labor goals.
Foster a positive work environment built on teamwork, accountability, and respect.
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and employee retention efforts.
Financial & Business Performance
Support achievement of restaurant sales goals.
Monitor labor, food, and operating costs.
Assist with inventory management and product ordering.
Help maintain profitability through proper cost controls and operational efficiency.
Review operational reports and take corrective action when necessary.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with all company policies, food safety standards, and local regulations.
Maintain a safe workplace for guests and team members.
Follow and enforce labor law requirements and company procedures.
Ensure proper handling of cash, deposits, and restaurant assets.
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or GED.
At least 1-2 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience.
Strong leadership and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred
Experience in quick-service restaurants (QSR) or fast-food operations.
Experience with scheduling, inventory management, food cost control, and labor management.
Management or supervisory experience with Church‘s Texas Chicken, Golden Chick, KFC, Popeyes, or similar quick-service restaurant brands is highly preferred .
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus+++.

Work Schedule
