CI Press HelperSalary Range $22.00 - $24.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift 3rd Shift Category General Labor3rd ShiftTuesday-Saturday, 12AM - 8AMGeneral Responsibilities: Assist in operating the printing equipment and related auxiliary tools. Print labels that match or exceed the quality expected by the customer. Must maintain and oversee equipment to ensure that they are well maintained and in good operating conditions. This position will be heavily involved in trouble shooting day-to-day issues related to printing. Primary focus is rolls on and rolls off, but not limited to this.Essential Job Functions:Conduct daily safety inspection of work area and addresses noted issuesOperate the press in a safe manner following safety and PPO rules.Analyze and follow the press schedule, must plan what is needed for completion of a work order.Must utilize all auxiliary tools installed at the press for process control and traceability.Communicate and share information about experiences and troubleshooting.Perform corrective actions in a timely manner, any non-conform product must be identified and segregated.Proactive assistance to improve process, methods, equipment, and materials.Permanent control of the printing process.Responsible for quality and productivity.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Direction Setting: Possesses organizational skills with the ability to exercise independent decision-making in a demanding environment as well as take direction from the Press OperatorCommunication: Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally within the work unit and shift. Ability to follow written and verbal directions on tasks.Execution: Ability to focus on goals, metrics, and results. Self-started who takes ownership and accountability for self and department. Uses resources efficiently, effectively, and timelyInnovation: Must demonstrate an open and growth mindset, embracing change, stepping out of comfort zone, and applies creativity in generating ideas and solutionsAnalytical: Ability to approach troubleshooting, project development and business performance analytically utilizing technology skillsDependability: Regular reliable attendance and demonstrates strong work ethicSafety: Comprehensive understanding of electrical health and safety regulationRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma equivalentDemonstrated insight into mechanical and process analysisMust communicate in both verbal and written mattersAbility to work overtime and any schedule that management deems necessary to maintain productionPreferred Qualifications:Computer skills in Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPointBasic knowledge of plastic films.Basic knowledge of solvent base and water base inks.
